Research Topic 6: New Energy Technologies with Process Optimization and Dynamic Modeling

Research Goal (연구 목표): 차세대 에너지 기술 대상 공정 최적화와 정적·동적 모사를 결합한 시스템 수준 분석

We aim to develop system-level modeling and optimization frameworks for new energy technologies by integrating process design, dynamic modeling, and advanced optimization techniques. Our research focuses on catalytic and CCU-based chemical production processes, integrated LNG–SOFC–CCUS systems, and fusion energy fuel cycle technologies, including detritiation systems. Through steady-state and dynamic simulation, as well as data-driven surrogate modeling, we seek to enhance process efficiency, controllability, and environmental performance of emerging energy systems.
